What Guardbrook does

Most drivers see one number on a renewal notice and have no way to tell whether it is high or low. Guardbrook puts that number in context. You will find:

Everything on the site is general information. It does not look at your situation, and it is not advice about your policy.

What Guardbrook is not

Guardbrook is not an insurance company, agency or broker. It does not sell, quote, bind or recommend insurance policies, and it holds no insurance license. It is not a government agency and has no connection with any state insurance department.

If you want quotes, you can send a rate-shopping request. Guardbrook passes it to licensed insurance agents and insurers, and any quote you get comes from them, not from Guardbrook. The licensing page explains how to check that an agent or insurer is licensed in your state.

Who runs the site

The site is operated under the name Guardbrook from 5955 Alpha Rd, Suite 408, Dallas, TX 75240. You can reach us by email at [email protected] or through the contact form.

How the pages are written

Articles are written and checked by the Guardbrook Editorial Team, the byline you see on every page. We don’t put invented names or credentials on the site.

Each figure comes from a source we opened: the NAIC, state insurance departments, state statutes, the Bureau of Labor Statistics or the Insurance Research Council. Every article lists its sources and shows the date it was last updated. The editorial policy describes how pages are sourced, reviewed and corrected, and the methodology shows the formulas behind the calculators and where the averages come from.

How the site is paid for

Reading Guardbrook and using its calculators costs you nothing. The site earns money when licensed insurance agents and insurers pay for rate-shopping requests that visitors choose to send. The site shows no ads and has no affiliate links. Payment does not change the averages, the articles or the calculators. The details are on how we make money.
